An Email with the Subject "From: Mr. Tim McCarron Greetings," was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 19 Mar 2008 10:39:11 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Mr. Tim McCarron" <infotim@fidelity.co.uk>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
From: Mr. Tim McCarron Greetings, I am a Fund Manager with Fidelity Investment UK and I handle all our Investor's Capital Project Funds that enables me to divert 1.2% Investors Excess Return Capital Funds to our Magellan Trust Funds Account whereby anyone can be presented to claim the funds. On this note, the total sum of GBP18M (POUNDS) has been diverted representing the 1.2% Excess Return Capital Funds from the Investor Capital Project Funds for 2005/2006. I need a reliable and trustworthy person that can work this deal out with me so that we can claim the funds as mentioned above.
