Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "Dear Beneficiary" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 23 Dec 2007 18:56:41 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Hugh Gareth" <paymentdirector_888@yahoo.com.hk>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear Beneficiary, I wish to notify you that you are being listed as a beneficiary to the total sum of $20,000,000 (Twenty Million, United States Dollars only) in an account in the Netherlands . you can therefore be presented as the beneficiary to the inheritance since there is no written will. I am happy to set-up all modalities, And provide you further details on your response and acceptance. In your acceptance of this deal, kindly forward your current telephone and fax numbers and a forwarding address to enable the filling and updating of the necessary documents the high court probate; division for the release of this sum of money.
