An Email with the Subject "Dear Beloved," was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 08 Aug 2007 15:17:57 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as "mrs.scarlett johansson" <mrs.scarlettj14@yahoo.de>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

How are you together with your family and work? hope all is well with you and your family,I am Mrs. Scarlett Johansson, from Sudan, presently staying in Abidjan. Cote d' Ivoire. I have been working as a human rights activist and a humanitarian coordinator for 15 years before i became sick and very unwell to continue the work that i started with my husband.. I`m married to Mr.Johansson We were married for 32 years without a child. He died after a brief illness  and before his death, we were both born again Christian. Since his death, I decided not to re-marry or get a child outside my matrimonial home.
 
When I was the coordinator of the major human right action group in Southern Sudan, I deposited the sum of US$2.5M. (Two million, Five hundred thousand U.S. Dollars) in a Bank in Abidjan, Cote d' Ivoire here. Presently, this money is still with the Bank. Recently, my Doctor told me that I would not last for the next Few months due to cancer problem.  The one that disturbs me most is my stroke sickness. Having known my condition, I decided to keep this money in the Bank. I want an organization or an individual that will use this fund for orphanages, widows, propagating the word of God and to endeavor that the house of Lord is maintained.
 
The Holy Bible made us to understand that Blessed is the hand that giveth. I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and I am an orphan. I don't want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly way. This is why I am taking this decision. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Almighty God. As soon as I receive your reply I shall inform the Bank that you are the beneficiary of the said money.
 
I will also issue you an authority letter that will prove you the present beneficiary of this money. I want you and the organization to always pray for me because the Lord is my shepherd. My happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy Christian. Whoever that wants to serve the Lord must serve him in truth and spirit. Please always be prayerful all through your life.
 
Any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing another person for this same purpose. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated herein. Hoping to receive your reply through this and Remain blessed in the Lord.
