An Email with the Subject "MUTUAL ASSISTANCE." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 13 Mar 2007 02:06:36 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as luisa@yahoo.com.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear Friend, The political unrest in my country (PHILIPPINES), necessitated this email, though this approach appears desperate, difficulties encountered in efforts to establish a business abroad also necessitate this search for someone to assist me in securing and investing the sum of USD18,000,000 (Eighteen million dollars) deposited in my name abroad.
