An Email with the Subject "Update Your Federal Credit Union" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 13 Jul 2006 22:42:04 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Nafcu.org"<service@nafcu.org>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

Dear National Association of Federal Credit Union customer,

NAFCU always look forward for the high security of our clients. Some customers have been receiving an email claiming to be from NAFCU advising them to follow a link to what appear to be a NAFCU web site, where they are prompted to enter their personal Online Banking details. NAFCU is in no way involved with this email and the web site does not belong to us.

NAFCU is proud to announce about their new updated secure system. We updated our new SSL servers to give our customers a better, fast and secure online banking service.

Due to the recent update of the servers, you are requested to please update your account info at the following link.
