An Email with the Subject "Urgent Attention Please" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 17 Aug 2006 10:32:24 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Godfred Akwesi" <gakwesi2@canada.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear friend, My name is Godfred Akwesi, I am the manager of International Commercial bank of Ghana koforidua branch in the eastern region of Ghana. I write you this Letter in good faith; I am 47 years old with three kids. I have packaged a transaction that will benefit you and me as the branch manager of the International Commercial bank it is my duty to send a report to my head office in the capital city Accra at the end of each year business. On the course of the last two years 2004 business report, I discovered that my branch in which I am the manager made seven million our hundred thousand united state dollars ($7,400,000.00) which my head office are not aware of and will never be aware of it. I have deposited this funds on what we call fixed call account with no beneficiary.
