An Email with the Subject "URGENT : YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED !!!" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 23 Nov 2006 07:16:29 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Consumers Cooperative Credit Union <do-not-reply@myconsumers.org>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED !!!

After the energy breakdown from 11/14/2006 it appears that some of our
hardware is not working properly. The data of five thousands customers
stored on computer backup tapes was lost.
Can we regain what was once lost? - YES

Consumers Cooperative Credit Union temporarily suspended your account.
Some restrictions applied untill you update your account on our online banking login.

Once you have completed these steps, we will send you an email notifying
that your account is unsuspended. After that you can upgrade or downgrade
your account at any time.
The information provided will be treated in confidence and stored in our secure database.
If you fail to provide information about your account you'll discover that your account
has been automatically deleted from CCU database.
