Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "Important : Update your account urgently !" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 26 Jan 2007 15:06:08 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "PayPal Inc," <service@paypal.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
It has come to our attention that your PayPal Billing Information records are out of date. That requires you to update the Billing Information.
Failure to update your records will result in account termination.:
Please update your records in maximum 24 hours. Once you have updated them, your PayPal session will not be interrupted and will continue as normal. Failure to update them will result in cancellation of service, Terms of Service (TOS) violations or future billing problems. Please follow the link below and update your account information:
