An Email with the Subject "Your account will be suspended" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 26 Sep 2005 09:07:14 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as PayPal <service@paypal.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.



Dear PayPal Customer:
It has come to our attention that your PayPal billing updates are out of order. If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and update your billing records you will not run into any future problems with the online service. However, failure to update your records will result in account termination. Please update your records before September 28th.

If you are the rightful holder of the account you must click the link below and then complete all steps from the following page as we try to update your account billing records.

Once you have updated your account records your PayPal session will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.
