An Email with the Subject "Important Notice" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 04 Jan 2007 09:07:00 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "TCF Bank" <service@tcf.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

Dear TCF Bank customer,

We recently noticed one or more attempts to log in to your TCF Bank
account from a foreign IP address.

If you recently accessed your account while traveling, the unusual log in
attempts may have been initiated by you. However, if you did not initiate
the log ins, please visit TCF Bank as soon as
possible to verify your identity:

http://www.tcfexpress.com/PersonalBanking/index.jsp

Verify your identity is a security measure that will ensure that you are
the only person with access to the account.
