An Email with the Subject "Important Information From Nationwide (Update Your Online banking Account)" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 12 Jul 2007 08:48:44 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Nationwide Building Society <olb2nationet@nationwide.co.uk>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

During our regularly scheduled account maintenance and verification procedures, we have detected a slight error in your billing information.
This might be due to either of the following reasons:

1. A recent updates in our billing server ( Due to slightly problem )
2. A recent change in your personal information ( i.e. change of address).
3. An inability to accurately verify your selected option of payment due to an internal error within our processors.
