Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "Notice from Chase.com" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 13 Nov 2006 20:44:22 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Chase Personal Banking" <securechase@chase.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

You have received this email because we have strong reason to believe that your Chase account had been recently compromised. In order to prevent any fraudulent activity from occurring we are required to open an investigation into this matter.
If your account informations are not updated within the next 72 hours, then
we will assume this account is fraudulent and will be suspended. We apologize
for this inconvenience, but the purpose of this verification is to ensure that
your Chase account has not been fraudulently used and to combat fraud.
