An Email with the Subject "Your Online Account Has Been Flagged" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 22 Oct 2006 14:22:19 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "BankOfAmerica Service" <service@bankofamerica.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

During regular system maintenance your online account has been flagged and we must confirm that you are the trueholder of this account.Account was flagged during scheduled system update on 23st of Oct. 2006 and as a security measure some sensitive account features were automatically disabled.Bellow are the possible reasons that determine the maintenance system to flag an account:

-Too many unsuccesfull login attempts detected.

-Customer is not enrolled with Bank of America Online Banking.

-Your did not login into your Online Banking account in the last month.
