An Email with the Subject "We were unable to reach you by telephone" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 01 Dec 2006 23:38:26 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Wachovia Bank" <customerservice@wachovia.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

    We were unable to reach you by telephone.


    Please be aware that new charges will be declined on the account(s) listed within the Account Summary section and any other card products associated with this account(s); and (if applicable) you should advise any additional Cardmember(s) that their new charges will also be declined. 

    Update your account immediately. Regrettably, if we do not receive a confirmation, your account may be cancelled, resulting in the loss of all the valuable services in which you are currently enrolled (such as Membership Rewards). In addition, if we don't hear from you, your account may be presented to a collection agency and your credit rating could be impacted. For revolving products, a cancellation may increase the interest rate (APR) charged on the balance of your account to the maximum rate (default rate) as reflected in your Cardmember Agreement.
