An Email with the Subject "Reactivate Your Chase Account" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 30 Mar 2006 19:44:19 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Chase Online Banking" <chase@chase.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Your online credit card account has high-risk activity status. We are contacting you to remind that on March 31 2006 our Account Review Team identified some unusual activity in your account. In accordance with Chase Bank User Agreement and to ensure that your account has not been compromised, access your account was limited. Your account access will remain limited until this issue has been resolved. We encourage you to log in and perform the steps necessary to restore your account access as soon as possible.
