An Email with the Subject "Important Account Notice" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 17 Mar 2007 13:24:46 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Capital One" <account@CapitalOne.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.


We recently have determined that different computers have logged onto your Online Banking account, and multiple password
failures were present before the logons. For your security we temporary suspended your account, for restoring your account you
need to confirm your informations using the form below. If this is not completed in 48 Hours, we will be forced to suspend
your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes.

To restore your Online Banking account use the following form:
