An Email with the Subject "Attention !!! - Restore your card account access" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 23 Mar 2007 06:13:38 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as <account@wellsfargo.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
We recently reviewed your account, and suspect that your Wells Fargo Card account may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party. Protecting the security of your account and of the Wells Fargo network is our primary concern.
