An Email with the Subject "Investment Proposal" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 27 Jul 2007 03:39:34 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Mends Aubrey <mend-s1@hotmail.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

Dear Friend, 
Am Mr.Mends Aubrey,i have interest co-investing in your country and as such I decided to establish contact with you for assistance as soon as I am able to transfer my US$22.5M (Twenty two million five hundred thousand U.S Dollars)  for this investment, which is already with a Safe Keeping company in Europe. There are two basic things I beg of you:
 
1) Helping me to front in collecting these funds from the
Safe Keeping company in Europe.This is because of my inability to travel out of the country which I am taking refuge at the moment with my wife and children which I will explain better to you upon the receipt of your acceptance.
 
2) Helping me to carry out feasibility study on
choice area of investment you deem best for me. I retired as financial consultant and was the last Personal Financial Adviser to my Country's ex- head of state before he was forced out of office by United States of American government and I have no intention of carrying out any further investment programme in my country for security reasons.
