An Email with the Subject "Re: Colonel Lincoln" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 19 Jun 2011 08:59:05 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as "Colonel Lincoln Coles" <col.lincole@msn.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear Friend, I am presently in Syria with the US marine Forces for peace keeping; I have secured the money $16 Million US Dollars and have every proof of this transaction. I will transfer the fund through HSBC Bank as I have discussed with the Bank Manager, They do International fund transfer. I will inform you on what to do when I finally transferred the money into your personal bank account as your share still remains 20% of the total fund. All modalities to effect the payment and subsequent transfer of this Fund have been worked out. This transaction is 100% free risk but requires 100 percent confidentiality.
