An Email with the Subject "Compensation Payment Details!!!!" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 04 Dec 2010 06:57:09 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Dr. Akilo Adams"<davisonfrank46@yahoo.ie>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear Sir, The Federal Government of Nigeria has decided to pay you ($10,000.000) Teen Million Dollars pert payment for your compensation, through our Oil Reserve Consolidated Account due to some anomalies and discrepancies in most of our federal ministries, local banks, NNPC and the nation's apex bank, Central Bank of Nigeria. However, full scale and detailed investigation revealed that you might have paid colossal amount of money to fraudulent individuals in time past and for that cogent reason the Federal Government of Nigeria decided to solely handle the payment of your fund through our Oil Reserve Consolidated Account for safety reasons. For this singular payment purpose, you should send across your current valid receiving payment details to enable us perfect the final payment of your fund into it, which will help facilitate the transfer in your behalf so as to enable us pay you by tomorrow morning.
