Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "UNITED NATIONS COMPENSATION UNIT" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 12 Nov 2010 22:20:35 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "UNITED NATIONS" <united@pinn.net>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
The UNITED NATIONS has agreed to compensate all the people that had an unfinished transaction or international Fund transfer that failed due to Government problem or those that have been Defrauded in the Internet by dubious Individuals.The sum of US$550,000.00 was issued to each of you .We found your name in our list as one of the beneficiary and that is why we are contacting you through this medium.
