An Email with the Subject "Update your account information" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 09 Mar 2010 09:00:00 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as westernunionresponse@westernunion.com <westernunionresponse@westernunion.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear Western Union member, We are sorry to inform you that your Western Union Online Account has been suspended. A high number of failed login attempts have been recorded on your online account. As a security measure we had to temporarily suspend your account. To restore your account we have attached a form to this email. Please download the form and follow the instructions on your screen.
