During a business seminar held in London late 2008, I was opportune to meet with one Dr. Anderson Bota an accomplished well known, highly recognized millionaire farmer and one of the greatest suppliers of cattle, beef and other Dairy products. He is the CEO of Botalo cattle farms South Africa Ltd.
During our conversation Dr. Arthur Bota confided and disclosed the purchase of a very important medical product for his animal husbandry . Thus he told me that he was buying from an Australian supplier in the past at the rate of $5,000.00 (Five Thousand US Dollars) per carton. He usually buys between 300 to 450 cartons every 3 months. Dr Bota gave me a task of sourcing for a cheaper supplier of Amaccineclox M1 vaccines due to the recent trend of falls in the general price of beef in the world market which affected his business.
Thereafter I found a producer of this same product in Malaysia that sells at $2,000 per carton, while it could be resold to Botalo farms at the rate of $4,100.00 per carton. This proposal was put forward and was accepted to the management of Batola Farms. They gave a local purchase order to supply 400 cartons of this product within 21 days.
