An Email with the Subject "Please contact me by email or telephone" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 29 May 2006 19:11:44 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as "David J. Michael" <davidjmichael@gmx.net>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear Sir, Greetings to your family, Permit me to use this medium to contact you,as I wish to solicit for your assistance in the transaction which l strongly believe will be of mutual benefit to both of us. I am Mr. David J. Michael,Manager accounts department with Shanghai Commercial Bank in London,my late customer,an expatriate was killed in an unknown circumstances and before his death he had some unclaimed treasury bills (Bonds) with my bank. I decided to search for any of my late customer's relative which has been very difficult to me before those treasury bills (Bonds) get confiscated or declared unserviceable by the bank. I later discovered that he passed on along with his wife and only child in the tragic swissair flight 111 air crash in September 1998. I have since expected his next of kin or relatives to come forward to claim his money but all attempts to trace his next of kin or relations over the years has been fruitless and all the bank routine notifications to his contact address were sent back uncollected. I am now fully convinced that no one would turn up to execute the Letter of Administration to claim his funds, and having satisfied all legal requirements of next-of-Kin notifications,I decided to contact you to come in as his next of kin. I will prepare every operation that will assist your claim, The treasury bills (Bonds) will be released to you within 10 working days after you have filed in for claims application to the bank.
