An Email with the Subject "YOUR COMPENSATION PAYMENT OF $1M" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 23 May 2008 06:02:32 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Yahoo! Calendar Invites <y_jp01@yahoo.co.jp>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

came to you. I am Prof. Charles Soludo, the Executive Governor Central Bank Of Nigeria.
Due to series of petition received from International Bodies on the way fraudsters around the world
especially Nigerians defrauded them, the Finnance Minister of the Ferderal Republic Of Nigeria and
my good self on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria have been having a meeting with the
newly elected Secretary-General to the UNITED NATIONS, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon for the past
10 days which ended 3 days ago.
Been the outcome of our meeting, we are sending this email to inform all the FOREIGN CONTRACTORS in
our records that have been scammed in any part of the world, that the UNITED NATIONS INCONJUCTION
WITH THE CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA have agreed to compensate them with the sum of US$ 1000, 000.00
(One Million United States Dollars Only). Via our newly setup Compensation payment office in
Thailand. This includes every foreign contractor that may have not received their contract funds,
and other victims that have had an unfinished transaction or international businesses that failed
due to Government problems in the past. This compensation payments will be effected to the victims,
pending on the conclusion of our investigations when their rightful contract funds will finally be
paid to them.
We found your name and email address on the List supplied to us by the UNITED NATIONS and that is
why we are contacting you. It has however been agreed upon that you should be paid with immediate
effect following the approval of your payment by the Central Bank of Nigeria in agreement with the
UNITED NATION'S Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
You are advised to contact the compensation payment office in Thailand, MR. ANTHONY YOUNG for more
information on how your compensation fund of One Million Dollars will be paid to you as we have
sent a signal to him for the release of your compensation funds to you.
