Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "New Development" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 05 Feb 2009 20:07:47 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "James Morgan"<BJMJmorgan@aol.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear friend
This is to inform you that since I did not hear from you, I was able to get your compensation
International Certified Cheque worth One Million United States Dollars {$1M USD} which was written
in your names and favor by Mrs. Patricia Relma; cashed from the bank where it was deposited and I
have to safe keep it with a diplomatic security company, packed in a bank vault and deposited with
them as a diplomatic consignment. The diplomatic delivery company will deliver this consignment to
your door step as soon as you respond to this email update.
Following the arrangement of delivery schedule; I will engage you to RECONFIRM your current
address/contact phone number/copy of driver’s license or international passport, which I will have
to forward to the diplomatic company that will delivery your consignment. Once I hear from you, I
will send you an attachment being the picture of the funds on how it was packed as a diplomatic
consignment. {Please, if you are not the supposed recipient of this message concerning the contents
of the consignment with the vault company, better delete and ignore this message}.
