An Email with the Subject "Looking forward for your reconfirmation if you are still alive" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 12 Aug 2010 05:06:08 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Mr. Mike Eze" <mikeeze1@mecanico.com.br>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Attention Dear Beneficiary We write to confirm the information we just heard from a man named Mr. Peter Oba, he came to our office to inform us that you are dead and during your illness you instructed him to claim the Federal Government Compensation fund of $3.5 Million on your behalf in case you die. So He made things very clear to us that you are dead and he’s the only person you disclosed this matter with and you have instructed him to come and claim the money since you are dead.
