Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "Hello" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 31 Aug 2010 03:16:18 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Mr A Gershkovich" <adam.gershkovich@mail.ru>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Hello, I know this email might seem a little strange as it is out of the blue but I ask for 2 minutes of your time to hear me out. My name is Adam Gershkovich, I have worked very hard all my life but due to me caring more about my business than my health and ignoring all the tell-tale signs, I am now dying of thyroid cancer. All family members and close friends that I trusted over the years have all betrayed me. I have always believed in the relief of poverty and the advancement of education which is why I want to give away the last of my wealth ($30.5Million) to non-profit organizations.
