An Email with the Subject "Bank of America Alert upcoming changes !" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 09 Aug 2010 17:39:08 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Bank of America Alert" <info@alerts.bankofamerica.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
To securely confirm your Bank of America credit card features, please follow these steps:
1. Contact Us at www.bankofamerica.com/SingOn/Verify-Your-Identity_Profile-Form-do.htm
2. Verify your identity.
After you have submitted your message, check for a response within 48 hours.
