An Email with the Subject "Dear," was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 11 Jul 2010 14:45:35 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Nikki Elliott" <nikkielliott00@yahoo.com.hk>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear, First I must solicit your strictest confidence in this transaction and I pray that my decision to contact you through telephone and email will be given genuine approval considering the facts that you and I have never meet before, I wish to use this opportunity to introduce my self to you. I am Nikki Elliott, from Sierra-Leone. I write you to know my desires to contact you and to invest in your country; I am the first son of Mr. John Elliott, who was the former Minister of Mines and Industry. My father had a bullet wounds by the rebels on his way traveling to the Capital city Freetown along with my sister.
