Good morning to you. I am contacting you this morning for a proposal that is very dear to me. My name is Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi.
This will be the source of new blood and new life for you and me. As we all are aware, the world economy has been hit by the repercussion of the financial meltdown that started with the sub-prime mortgage crisis in the United States of America and spread to Europe and other parts of the world. This crisis led to the collapse of many banks and other financial institutions and even rendered entire nations bankrupt.
In Nigeria, the banking system somehow managed to survive the storm due to a number of reasons. One of these reasons is the relatively simple nature of our Financial Products and the strong capitalization and liquidity of Nigerian banks. I am an insider of the financial system of this country. There are things I would want us to discuss, but that will be in our subsequent communications. These details are very important please.
I want to invest outside my country. I am fully prepared. Strong risk management capabilities and good corporate governance is needed to survive these times. I want to securely invest $20M USD in your country through you. I am fully prepared for this. I need your full cooperation please. I have been to Washington and New York on official visits and I am due to be in Washington again in about three weeks from now. I believe that we can meet ourselves then by the special grace of God.
I am aware that there are many questions in your mind that you would like to ask me concerning this project. Please do not bottle them up inside of you. Let us discuss them freely. A lot of people have many misconceptions about my country and our citizens. Not everyone here is a fraudster. There are still God fearing, honest citizens in our country. I personally believe in doing whatever I can to meet the needs of the people I come in contact with in the daily course of my job. A lot of people are going through pain and very difficult times, though they try very hard to put on a smiling face. Due to fear of rejection and mockery, they hide these pains deep inside of them. We can make the difference in their lives.
