An Email with the Subject "My Inquiry." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 16 Jul 2010 03:12:55 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as andrias@maybank.com.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Greetings, I am Andrias Ewat,a Principal Assurance Manager for Maybank in Malaysia. A deceased client of mine, that shares the same last name as yours, died as a result of a heart-related condition on March 12th 2005.
